Here is a little crochet dress that I have worked on. The panties are attached to the dress. It is easy to put on and most of all, being all in one piece, your favourite doll will never go out without undies!! 😉
You will find the pattern in my Etsy shop of course. It is a very easy and quick project. Suitable for beginners. Have fun making it and send me a picture of the results, I will publish it (with or without your name/contact/web-site…).
Little “Poppie Doll” has been adopted by real cute-iful baby Poppi girl Friday night… Poppi is the most lovable little baby girl, with big blue eyes, she was so fun to talk to, so alive and switched on… I was delighted to see the baby doll go home with such a beautiful family. They will have a loooong adventure together.
Sorry, I just really love this baby! Can’t you tell? lol!
Oh, I am so exited about this latest addition !!! I just can’t wait to show the world! lol
I’ve always wanted to have another baby (lol) and many thanks to Natalie for making me sew one for her little Poppie baby-girl.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything but I haven’t had much time this week. I was so impatient to see her all done though…
Those babies are so cuddly, warm, and perfect for the younger child. They look gorgeous and feel great too!
This little one was so much fun to make.
As usual, all stuffed with pure wool, she measures 38cms.
Her outfit matches her green eyes. She is so cute, cuddly, soft and warm…
This little ballerina was made for Danielle, our wonderful Ballet teacher. It was a bit fiddly and time consuming, but my fingers and heart got to work for her.
Hours of work, on and off…
This on going project started as a wet felted mat. I wanted it to look like a scene. As I worked the fibre, the wool separated in the middle of the tree trunk. Ideal home for a little gnome.
The flat bit was sewn together to make a cylinder. All the details have been added by needle work.
So much fun to make!!
Mum is an artist. She has been needle felting this beautiful Moroccan landscape from scratch.
She’s also started to paint.
On both scenes you can see our dear friend, little “Mimosa”.
Mum is hooked I think!
Ha ha, she is needle felting like crazy… This is her first time.
The typical Waldorf head making is now under control. But I want to make a simple comfy, extra cuddly body. So I’ll just try this for a change. With a little “tutu”, it will make a great friend for Petronille, my dear cousin’s daughter. This doll is extra comfy, with a trapeze sort of body shape, it looks like a cushion and a doll wearing a dress…. I wonder if I can make a boy’s version of this extra padded doll idea…
I tried to keep the cushion doll pattern to make a boy’s version but needed to adjust it somehow… That is how I came up with the lobster sort of legs! lol
Welcome to the world Jairus, “Lob the lobster” was made for you with all my love, as usual… My dear friend gave birth to him, on her own, in the family bathroom! He needed a strong masculine doll, yet soft and cuddly… Lob was perfect. I just hope he likes red crustaceans!! lol
These two babies are ready for adoption now.
They are filled with 100% wool of course, measure about 32cms (12.5Inches)
Maria loves yellow. This was wet felted with 100% pure merino wool, top quality, and sewn together with yellow cotton. I was so happy to make this for her.
My Grand-Mother, loves green. This was made for her, to keep her shoulders and neck warm for winter.
100% wet felted raw wool, finishings with needle work.
This little teddy took me hours! Who would have known. Unfortunately I was so excited to give it to one of my God-children, that I forgot to take the final pictures.
It has paws now, the legs are much shorter too, closer to reality. It has a very strong smell of wool because the wool was straight from a beautiful merino sheep. Even after washing it several times it was still really difficult to felt because of the lanolin.
Great fun though.
